Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your LingaRise account and all associated data from within the app.

How to delete your account

Open the LingaRise app
Launch the app on your device and make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings
Tap on the Profile tab (bottom right), then tap Settings (gear icon).
Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your identity
For security, you'll be asked to re-enter your password or re-authenticate via Google/Apple Sign-In.
Confirm deletion
Tap Delete My Account to permanently remove your account and all associated data.

⚠️ This action is permanent Account deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to avoid further charges.

What data is deleted

Account profile (name, email, photo)
Learning progress and lesson history
Flashcard decks and review data
Dictionary entries and saved words
Chat and conversation history
Pronunciation scores
Streak and achievement data
App preferences and settings

📋 Retained (up to 30 days)

Anonymised crash logs (Firebase Crashlytics) - retained for debugging purposes, cannot be linked back to you
Subscription transaction records (managed by Google Play / Apple / RevenueCat) - retained per their respective policies

If you're unable to access your account or need assistance with account deletion, please contact us at info@lingarise.com and we'll process your request within 7 working days.

You can also request deletion of your data without deleting your account by contacting us at the email above. Please specify which data you'd like removed.
